SAL de Navidad 2013 // Modern Christmas QAL

Hola de nuevo,
Mientras blogeaba un poquito he visto un SAL y estamos justo a tiempo de comenzarlo. Echadle un vistazo a este enlace de Christa's Quilts. Tiene muy buena pinta y parece una buena oportunidad para usar esos retalitos de telas navideñas que a lo mejor no dan para mucho.

Estas últimas semanas me he intentado poner al día con los bloques del SAL Modern Blocks. Lenta pero segura :o) Os animo a que lo intentéis, no son difíciles y como siempre aprendes un montón. Espero que os gusten. Un abrazote gordo.

Como os prometí aquí tenéis unas fotitos de mi adelanto con el proyecto Eastwood Village de Scrapquiltandstitch. Durante el verano me terminé los bloques que me faltaban y cuando volví a casa trabajé un poquito en el top. Todavía me falta algún borde y el acolchado por supuesto, pero a que promete la cosa. Me encanta...

During the summer I managed to complete all the outstanding blocks for the Eastwood Village BOM organised a couple of years ago by Scrapquiltandstitch. The top is now nearly finished, I might add an extra border but doesn't it look gorgeous? I love it...

Quería enseñaros un poco más del bloque de la tienda de patchwork. Decidí hacer un miniquilt y colgarlo de la cuerda de tender. Se ha quedado muy bonito. Espero que os guste.

Below you have some details on the Quilt Shop block. I decided to make a mini quilt for their display. I'm really happy with the result. I hope you like it.

Quilt Misterioso // Mistery Quilt

Hola a todos,

Os tengo abandonados desde el verano. Lo siento mucho, pero ando ajetreadísima, mi hijo pequeño ha comenzado el colegio y es todo un poco estresante. No tengo tiempo para gran cosa pero esta mañana descubrí que Roxane comienza un nuevo quilt misterioso la semana que viene y no lo podéis dejar escapar. Mira que me gustan sus proyectos... Yo me he apuntado, por supuesto. Lo iré terminando poquito a poco, como casi siempre fuera de plazo. Pero bueno, lo que importa es terminarlo.

Este verano he trabajado en el otro proyecto de Roxane, Eastwood Village, y casi casi he terminado el top. Me faltan los bordes. A ver si puedo enseñaros algunas fotitos.

After the summer break I'm still struggling to get back to the routine. My younger child has started school and he is also struggling with that. It is all a bit stressful... trying not to be too early at school so he does not dwell too much on the fact that mum is leaving. Then rushing to be on time for work... A bit of studying when I get back home... Uff... little sewing. Still I owe you a few pics from what I did during the summer.

I wanted to share with you this piece of good patchwork news. Roxane from Scrapquiltandstitch is organising another Mistery Quilt. Remember Eastwood Village? I have nearly completed the top now. You are going to love it!! Well, this will be another of her great projects. She is starting next week, you just have to contact her by email. You won't regret it!
